British Credit Awards is committed in the journey to becoming more sustainable. By using the guidelines set out by Ecovadis, we will be working towards the accreditation. The goal is to reduce paper consumption across events and improve recycling rates, curb food waste and alter menus with an aim to include locally sourced, organic produce. We have also committed to deliver carbon offsetting at events wherever possible and provide delegates with accessible venues. We will be closely evaluating each event and considering how we can improve in the following areas; energy, transport, water usage, recycling, economic and local environment/community.

Our venue has been Bronze Benchmarked by EarthCheck; our chosen partner for our journey towards becoming net zero. We’re committed to minimising the impact that we have on the environment, and we care to have a positive effect in our neighbourhood at the centre of this vibrant city. From the bee hives on our roof to the energy-efficient kitchens in our basement, we are mindful of all that we can do to reduce energy consumption, conserve natural resources, increase recycling and reduce waste.
